We are a church family of all ages, drawing in people from a variety of backgrounds and places. Some of us have been Christian believers for many years, some are just beginning a journey towards knowing God through Jesus Christ. Rev Phil Brooks - Vicar

Vicar- Phil Brooks has been Vicar at Christ Church since August 2016. He is husband to Jenny and dad to Adam and Sophie. Before he is any of those things, Phil is a Christian - someone who trusts Jesus and knows God as his Father in heaven. Like all Christians, Phil is still learning how to follow Jesus. His role at Christ Church is to serve God by helping others to know and trust Jesus, and to encourage and equip other Christians to help others do the same. If you’re coming across Christianity for the very first time and have questions, or are a committed Christian looking to grow in faith and ministry- or anywhere in between- he’d love to hear from you.

Alongside his ministry at Christ Church, Phil is currently studying for a Certificate in Biblical Counselling.

Philip Burgess – Lay Minister

Lay Minister - Philip Burgess has been a member of Christ Church since 2021 after moving from East Ham in East London where he had been licensed as a Reader since 1991. Married to Carol, they have a daughter Rachel who lives in a care home in Sutton, and son Edward who may often be seen at the church sound desk. He is a retired teacher of French and RE and has been a follower of Jesus since his time at Swansea University. He often preaches and leads services at Christ Church.

Natalya Semchyshyn- Ukraine welcome coordinator

Natalya is from Lviv, in Western Ukraine, but has lived in London for over ten years, and now lives in our Parish with her husband and two children. Natalya has a particular role in our church welcoming people from Ukraine. As part of this, Natalya leads our Saturday morning Ukrainian school for children.

Наталія зі Львова, що в Західній Україні, але вже більше десяти років живе в Лондоні, а зараз живе в нашій парафії з чоловіком і двома дітьми. Наталія відіграє особливу роль у нашій церкві, приймаючи людей з України. У рамках цього Наталя очолює нашу суботню ранкову українську школу для дітей.

Dr. Annisa Sinyi Wong, Cantonese Speaking Ministry Coordinator

Annisa, our outreach minister, is a BNO holder, moves to the UK in Jan 2021. She has almost 40 years of Christian ministry experiences with rich bible, mission, and theology academic training. Her ongoing research and publications keep on related to mission and management - "Management Theology”, and the “Management and Administration in the Bible". As a freelance theologian and spiritual mentor; practices her tentmaking mission model in her UK life.

Her ministry in Sutton and Christ Church, matching "Christ Church welcomes all nations". Please feel free to Introduce yourself to her on Wednesday mornings, Sundays morning, and first Saturday evening Cantonese speaking fellowship.

Annisa 於2021年1月持有BNO 移居英國。她有差不多40年事奉經驗，有豐富聖經、宣教及神學等學術訓練。她仍繼續宣教及管理的研究工作和出版。「管理神學」和「經中行管」是主要課題，以織帳棚宣教模式在英國生活，同時作為屬命啟導 和自由神學家角色。上帝指示她來到Sutton 及 Christ Church，連上 “Christ Church 歡迎 各國各民” 與她的屬靈恩賜和訓練。歡迎週三及主日上午在Christ Church 介紹她認識你。歡迎參加每月第一個週六下午5時30分廣東話團契聚會。
